Hi everybody,

I have had a search and I can't find a definitive answer to this......

Can you play the radio through a Bose SoundDock (Series I) with the iPod or iPhone?

I have seen that you can buy separate tuners that do the job but if I can do it through the iPod/iPhone then I'll obviously save myself some money!

Many thanks in advance.

The only iPod that has an FM tuner is the iPod Nano (the last two generations). Otherwise, the only way you could have radio on the Sounddock is if you use a streaming radio app. Also bear in mind the original Sounddock doesn't have any other inputs, so you wouldn't be able to plug a separate FM tuner into it.

Many thanks for your response. That answers it perfectly. I'll have to either buy a Nano or a separate FM Tuner (I've seen one that plugs directly into the iPod/iPhone socket).

Thanks again for your help.
