The FinePix HSEXR is a DSLR alternative which features: a 30x Wide Angle Manual Zoom Fujinon Lens, a 3” tilting LCD and the electronic viewfinder, the ability to shoot 1080p video and the ability to shoot pictures at up to 11 frames per second.

The camera also features Fujifilm's new EXR-CMOS sensor and EXR Processor which delivers improved picture quality and a wider dynamic range which means you should see more details in the highlights and shadows.

The HS20EXR offers full manual controls including shutter and aperture priority and the ability to shoot in RAW format, for users who like to have full creative control over their images. The HS20EXR also offers the popular EXR Priority modes (Wide Dynamic Range for high contrast scenes, High Sensitivity for low light scenes and High Resolution for maximum detail).

Other features include a Motion Panorama 360 degree Shooting mode that lets the user capture wide panoramic shots by simply panning the camera, 16 Megapixel Resolution, Improved Dual Image Stabilization, TTL Flash metering with two optional external flashes – the EF20 and EF42 (sold separately).

The FinePix HS20EXR is priced at $500.

I was impressed with the Motion Panorama 360 degree Shooting mode, manual controls, ease of use and the tilt screen.
