I was wondering if anyone else experienced an outage last night in the Quispamsis area. Both out TV and internet service died with every channel showing signal unavailable and no websites would load. I'm assuming it was weather related

You're probably correct in assuming it was weather related. I live in Nerepis and, while I didn't lose my service, I did notice a few instances of digital breakup while watching the Barrett-Jackson Auction last night.

Could have been ice buildup in some equipment or, more likely, someone hit a pole and took out a fibre line.

I was using TV and internet over FibreOP from about 8:30 until 11:00 with no problems, and the PVR successfully recorded TV from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

Safe to assume it was a local outage....however this is not the first time I've heard of that area experiencing an outage.
