portsnet West has the new faces in Oil Country covered with 47-games in 2008-2009.

Bell Oilers Hockey on Sportsnet West opens the ’08-’09 regular season at Rexall Place on Sunday, October 12 at 6 p.m. MT as the new-look Edmonton Oilers host the Colorado Avalanche.

Sportsnet West’s Oilers broadcast schedule features more games than any other channel including 47-regular season match-ups with selected games airing in high-definition, and a pre-season edition of the Battle of Alberta on Tuesday, September 30 at 7 p.m. MT when the Copper and Blue host the Calgary Flames.
