I have the Torch and my wife has the Pearl 3G and we are both getting nasty echo when making calls, doesn't happen all the time but it happens most of the time. I am in Halifax, Dartmouth, Enfield Full 3G signal.

Bell told me to change in-call settings to Normal on all and try again. I guess I will wait and see but still.. this never happened on Rogers, but Roger's sevice covereage here, is terrible.

Is there any pattern to who you're talking to when you get the echo? There's not a lot of points where echo can be created. Normally, it occurs where the analog phone connects to the central exchange, but it can also happen in the phones. With digital phone systems, unlike the old analog system, there's nowhere else where the path is shared between directions.

It happens everywhere... like right now and not to anyone specifically. I changed in call settings to normal as bell suggested and still happening.

I have a samsung wave and i have the same issue, it makes for a very hard phone call as your echo is VERY distracting.

Casino Taxi is one number I find I always get this echo with.
