EastLink, Canada's largest privately owned cable operator, announced today it is expanding its network and customer base with the rebranding of Persona's Western Canadian divisions.
EastLink says the transition in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba will occur over the course of the next few months and is part of a national transition which began soon after Eastlink purchased Persona.
EastLink purchased Persona in September 2007 and will have rebranded all of the Persona operations by the end of the year with the exception of operations in Saskatchewan, which were sold to Access Communications in late June of this year.
Persona's Atlantic divisions were rebranded Eastlink in mid-2008 while the rebranding of the Persona Ontario and Quebec divisions was completed in the spring and summer of this year.
