I bought a Ipod and downloaded ITUNES. So 2 weeks later my avg scan appears with a Trojan Horse in a Quicktime Windows Installer File. I removed Quicktime and ran the scan again but it was still there cause it was in my recycling bin. Cleared the bin now its gone.

So my question is it actually gone, it dosent appear in the scans? Now Itunes dosent work so im going to have to re-install Quicktime will that bring the Trojan Horse 2 virus back?

Does removing infected program remove Trojan or Virus?
If the program has run, then its likely too late. If its a executable that hasn't run then you're likely okay.

Fortunately this was a false positive which AVG is quite famous for and one of the reasons I stopped using their software.
