I thought that was the intention a few months ago but haven't heard or seen anything since.

I sure as heck hope so. I just brought back my ancient 6208 with a dying HDD.. and guess what, they gave me another friggin' 6208. It's 2011 and Rogers is still giving people digital high def devices that don't have an HDMI connection.. ridiculous. Not to mention I'm stuck with 80GB of HDD space again. She absolutely refused to give me the dual-tuner PVR in exchange where I had the 6208 single-tuner already. Not impressed (NL btw).

pestul, the reason they refused to give it to you is that would have to be done as an upgrade and arranged by customer service first as the dual tunner is 5$ more than the single tuner (24.95 apposed to 19.95) and the dual does have HDMI as i am looking at one rite now... also you get up to 160GB from the 6416/3416

Unless you are willing to pay the addtitional fees for a duel tuner, they will do a 1 to 1 swap on old 6208's. They are only kept in stock for the purpose of swapping customers old boxes, to my knowledge, and are no longer installed for new customers.
