Getting the 630 and I need the second line run. as well as another to the room that the old 505 is going. There seems to be many flavors of RG6 with all kinds of crazy prices etc do I really need quad shielding with all the super stuff, or is basic run of the mill double shielded RG6 OK for a 40 ft run from the dish.

Unless noise problems, I agree you don't need quad shielded - but for outdoor connections (at the dish) I would highly recommend watertight compression fittings and/or smear it with dielectric grease when you connect it.

OK thanks great stuff off to Princess auto I go. for my Ham antennas I always use electrical antioxidant grease on the antenna connections lasts for years and years so I'll be sure to use it on the dish as well.
