Does anyone know if Telus has the capability to reboot the DLink router remotely? Strangely enough, I think this has happened before and I think it happened on a Sunday.

The router reboots itself about 8PM on a Sunday and then after about 1 hour, reboots itslef again. Then it seems good after that. The first time I noticed this 2 reboot deal was about 1 month ago. Then it did the same thing again last night like it was on a timer to do this.

I haven't seen any other problems like this in the forum so if no one else has this kind of issue, I'll call Telus

There is a firmware upgrade for the dlink that's supposed to solve some of the issues with it like media streaming, and I know they are unrolling the update to homes from now till the end of april. Could be whats going on with your box, but it doesnt hurt to call tech support to find out.

Thanks for the replies. Seems strange that it would go fine for a month and then reboot twice in one evening.

Since I have the ALU modem, if they replace the DLink with an Actiontech, should I keep the ALU or use the modem feature of the Actiontech
