The specific situation I and liverpool are talking about - being able to watch every EPL game - requires Sportsnet World which is another $20/month. It's ridiculous that EPL soccer is split between two networks and two TV packages, with no online alternative.

I think ben fav is right, I dont see the day that we can pay 12.5 for everything.

TSN needs to keep up with DAZN and SN so u can buy their products without cable. It would be something like $50 plus though for all 3. Or, if TSN keeps losing their rights ( I really want to know the details about Premier League TV rights contract length in Canada).

Apple TV currently has only SN NOW and DAZN app for sports in Canada.

Maybe Bell is investing money some other way instead of TSN or TSN app. It's weird though how no one complained to CRTC about DAZN launching in Canada!

DAZN Canada Acquires Elite International Cricket Tournaments

DAZN Canada welcomes elite international cricket tournaments to its growing platform starting this month. A two-year agreement with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), and a four-year agreement with the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) gives DAZN members access to tournaments hosted by these cricket boards LIVE and on-demand.

DAZN Canada's two-year agreement with PCB, WICB and SLC entails broadcasting all three boards' Twenty-20, Test cricket, and One Day International matches.

The four-year agreement with ECB will bring 19 international matches, all England home matches, Country T20 competitions, Women's T20 Leagues matches, and other ECB hosted matches and tournaments.

DAZN Canada's cricket coverage began last month with England vs. Pakistan Test Match, which DAZN members can catch up on using the on demand feature. Future cricket content will be made available LIVE, on demand and in highlight form.

Rugby, Aussie Rules (full schedule), some fringe motorsports, hurling, darts, low-end "pro" wrestling would be my wish list.

Lots of good content though for fringe sports to "channel surf" through though. Love all the weird international coverage, announcers, graphic packages, etc. some sports have.

Wouldn't mind if they had some oddball documentary channel that was sports related as well.

Former ESPN President John Skipper has joined Perform Group as Exec Chairman in preparation for the launch of DAZN in the U.S. on September 10. The company also hired announcer Michael Buffer, who will bring his trademarked “let’s get ready to rumble” call to fight nights on DAZN. (Source)

Looks like Dazn is also adding La Liga and Ligue 1...

From Twitter DAZN_CA
"New rights update: we’ve reached an agreement with our friends at BeIN Sports. Starting next week, we will have La Liga and Ligue 1 games back on our platform. Full details coming out on Monday. Thank you for your patience, Canada."

Messi, Ronaldo, and Neymar got em all.

Not a bad deal now, $150 per year for NFL, CL and those leagues. Stream of the Juve game today looked good today, it needed to be refreshed a couple times when the picture went soft.

Sorry no idea how to quote people.

A few things, for starters the rate is for new subscribers , Liga and Ligue 1 games are not offered on VOD like last year, they simply are shown through the Bein feed, a bit like last year the advertised Champions League when in fact they used the same feed.

And talking about the Bein offer , they are only showing the canadian feed and the Spanish feed not of the alternates one so when there is a multiplex , you will miss a few games live and be dependent that these two channels offer a replay.

So for those who have to pay the full price, it is a half full half empty glass this year, especially for those who went for that thing for the football that gets actually played with feet. What really bugs me is the fact they got the exclusive rights for Champions League, overall consumer is a loser what used to be available on the regular cable with TSN or Snet at a cheap price he has to pay extra dough to stream it on a rather average site with uneven quality.

TSN didn't have all the Champions League Matches last year. They shared the rights with BeIN. Whether or not the consumer is a loser depends on what their main interest is. Gaining all Champions League and Europa League matches while losing VOD for La Liga and Ligue 1 is a win for me. Keep in mind that Champions League is played during the work week so VOD is much more important than with La Liga where I can probably make time to watch it live on the weekend.

Also, I don't know what you mean by "full price". The price for DAZN was always $20/month or $150/year.
