Hello. I have no idea if I am posting this in the right place. A google search of connect daytek display to chromebook lead me here. I am not computer savy at all. I have an older daytek monitor that I would like to connect my chromebook to in order to watch the world series. The hdmi outlet on monitor seems flaky and loose. I am able to play on my wii on video 2. So, I bought a switch as told by a friend that I put the rca cables where the wii cables were. That goes to switch via other end of rca cables (red white and yellow). The a hdmi cable from other side of switch to my chromebook. If the wii works, why won't the chromebook display. All I get is that silly butterfly floating around on the daytek screen. My friend can't figure out why it works for wii but not my computer. Any suggestions?
