One of North America's most prolific sports broadcasters returns to TSN as the network today announced that ESPN's Dan Shulman has joined Canada's Sports Leader as a regular contributor.

Shulman will work exclusively in Canada for TSN, providing analysis and reports across all platforms for the network's key properties, including SPORTSCENTRE.

Dan Shulman is returning to TSN.

The network annouced Tuesday that the veteran ESPN broadcaster will be a regular contributor for TSN's baseball coverage.

Look at the photo The Globe used from '95. Just awesome.

Any adding of Dan to TSN is good, but I am sure this aimed more towards TSN Radio and also doing a bit for Sportscentre...

Yep, probably aimed at keeping him off Primetime Sports too, which sucks because I loved hearing him on there.

He is probably too busy with ESPN to do any regular programming on TSN, but I'd say he is the leading candidate to do play by play for basketball at the 2012 Olympics now. This frees Rod Black up for a different assignment.
