To accomodate the need for more ports, D-Link is now shipping the DIR-632 Wireless N Routers with eight 10/100 lan ports, twice the number found in most home routers.

Nice Idea. I personally wish my router had 8 ports so I could eliminate the need for a switch almost right beside my router but why 10/100 LAN?

Anyone wanting 8 ports on their router probably wants Gigabit Ethernet too. I think a lot of people will be disappointed with this router.

I think you nailed it ... needs gigabit. But an eight port gigabit router would be an awesome idea.

Agreed; the lack of 1000T is a showstopper.

I'd love an 8 port Wireless N Dual Band Gigabit router...

yup, that'd eliminate like 3 devices from my network
