My parents now watch the local ctv (aka Kitchener CKCO) in SD instead of the Toronto CTV-HD for The View due to problems like this. So its not the first time something like that has happened.
CTV (CFTO) and the View
Hate to admit watching the View but occasionally it does happen. This morning CTV cut to commercials in the middle of an interview seven or so minutes before the hour. The time period until the noon news on CTV Toronto HD was filled with commercials and promo's then directly into the noon hour newscast. No ending to the program was provided. Sure mistakes are made and regardless of the program it is an insult to viewers to not offer some sort of explaination. Have written letters of complaint to CTV and the CRTC but expect the usual answers (or the usual non-answers).

Go OTA and watch the ABC feed from WKBW, and you won't see problems like this happen.
Tonight's Daily Show did the same thing. Only they cut to Nightline oddly enough for a couple minutes at the start and then joined the Daily Show in progress so it's just not simsubs they can't seem to get right.Go OTA and watch the ABC feed from WKBW, and you won't see problems like this happen.
The OP is in London, ON so unless he has some excellent OTA gear he won't see a U.S. station that carries The View.
