I thought abc Spark and Freeform were supposed to be different channels. Why didn’t they ever rebrand if that wasn’t the case?
ABC Spark carried most of the original programming from Freeform. When ABC Spark was launched, it was based on ABC Family in the U.S. The U.S. channel later changed its name to Freeform. I guess Corus didn't think it was worth the hassle and extra license fee to rebrand.

I think they should replace TÉLÉTOON with Disney+ in the description.
I'll repeat my previous point. Corus is promoting their own channels. They aren't going to promote Disney+ Canada, which is their direct competition, and part of the reason these channels are shutting down.

Just revealed that Slice and the W Network will be picking up the contents of ABC Spark
That makes sense - reality programming will go on Slice and drama on W. It also fits with the mainly female demographic.

It would be interesting to analyse the schedules for the remaining Corus channels when the listing for Sept 1 and after starts to show up.
A friend of mine named Alex Delorey on Instagram, he is predicting that the schedules for Corus' remaining kids channels, as well as Adult Swim, will be changed slightly to accommodate the closing channels.
Slice and W Network will also be changing slightly to accommodate the Freeform content they will be adding (reminds me of when Teletoon snagged classic cartoons after Retro was shuttered in 2015, I'll never forget Corus for doing that, it was one of my faves that gave me nostalgia).

Home - Nickelodeon Canada - As of September 1, 2025, Nickelodeon Canada will no longer be available. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause. More great shows are available on YTV.com.
YTV is basically Nickelodeon in Canada but with additional programs (namely from DreamWorks Animation since 2020 and Cartoon Network since 2025).

Treehouse is not mentioned, they are Nick Jr. but with additional programs (The Wiggles, Sesame Street, Gabby's Dollhouse, four Peacock originals, they used to air Yo Gabba Gabba until 2015 when WildBrain took over for the final episodes), so I think the same in the warning can be said for that one.

Unfortunately, like what happened with Nick programming after Paramount took rights away for Paramount+, Disney will likely take away most rights for their shows from Corus, limiting what can be aired, and for the Disney Jr. programming, much of it will likely be moved exclusively to Disney+ (WE'RE STILL MISSING PUPSTRUCTION AND ROBOGOBO FROM THE SERVICE!!).

And Treehouse's future is murky - especially facing the likely loss of Nick Jr. programming (which isn't much these days considering that network is basically just endless reruns of PAW Patrol) - with that stuff likely being replaced with more stuff from Peacock/Dreamworks, WB, and their own stuff.

YTV is also facing a cloudy future - the fact CN programming is airing on there is a sign they're facing the loss of Nickelodeon programming this fall as Paramount moves everything to Paramount+.

Bell and Rogers promote Disney+.
They have heavy advertising partnership.

Wait, but doesn’t Corus own the Canadian version of PlutoTV? Would they shut it down in that situation or would Paramount just try to buy it back?

Corus only own the Canadian ad sales of PlutoTV. Paramount own the service in Canada.

According to recent YouTube uploads, the channels have added texts on the bottom of the TV screen saying "This channel will no longer be available as of September 1, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. ET."
Corus is too lazy to do actual shutdown commercials.

Corus is lazy to do a lot of things, like updating their websites...precording OTA news broadcasts...cheap and lazy

I was the one who posted that, BTW.
As it stands:

ABC Spark shows likely go to W and Slice.
Nick shows might go to YTV - but considering Paramount took away much of the library from Corus (notably classics), it's most likely it goes to Paramount+.
Disney Jr. shows are likely mostly going to Disney+ as the Canadian Disney Channel is limited to 3 hours in the morning for Disney Jr. shows due to license and CanCon laws.

In fact, Iron Man & His Awesome Friends, which was supposed to premiere THIS weekend, does not currently have a airdate in Canada and it's possible it doesn't air on Disney Channel here at all - and has a Disney+ date of November 12th, 2025.

Pupstruction will hopefully be added to Disney+ soon, as it's been blocked from the service for over a year because of Corus trying to protect their precious Rubble & Crew (which is a awful ripoff of Pupstruction and is inferior to PAW Patrol, which R&C is spun off from).

I know how many Nickelodeon shows have been dropped from Corus or are expected to be dropped from the lineup come September 1. Here is the timeline of how shows were cut:

1. August 2024 - Big Nate
2. January 2025 - Rock Paper Scissors
3. Late Winter 2025 - Max & the Midknights
4. May 2025 - Super Duper Bunny League (after only two episodes)
5. August 2025 - The Casagrandes, The Really Loud House, Monster High, Danger Force, Tyler Perry's Young Dylan, The Backyardigans
6. September 2025 - Remaining Nickelodeon shows

In addition to Iron Man and His Awesome Friends skipping Corus, Wylde Pak and the upcoming HexVets & Magic Pets (the latter is set to debut next year), as well as any other Nickelodeon show currently in development, will most likely skip Corus as well.

And not fixing certain shows - during airings of Gabby's Dollhouse, Doodlebook is always replaced with The Easter Kitty Bunny because Corus is too lazy to fix things at Treehouse (luckily I have Netflix).
Gabby's should have been picked up by WildBrain instead. They'd fix the errors as they are less lazy and more movement infused.

Big Nate was written off, BTW. Can't watch it anywhere unless you buy it on YouTube TV.
Fairly OddParents - A New Wish also skipped Corus as it's a Netflix exclusive, even though it aired on Nick in the USA.

Something else I forgot to mention as well re: Disney Jr. shows.
Normally, first-runs would've been added on-demand and on StackTV, but recent Pupstruction, RoboGobo and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ episodes that aired this past weekend were not added because of the pending shutdown - which is a bad sign.

One more note - PAW Patrol is not included under Nick shows as it's property of Spin Master. Treehouse's airings of the show are haphazard schedule-wise as they likely have to pay both Spin Master and TVOntario(who co-produce the main series) royalties.

Well why would they? It just legitimizes a lot of peoples opinion that it's a failing company.
Plus like does anyone do that? Unless there’s a new channel that’s coming to take their place which it’s pretty clear that isn’t the case for anything here, I don’t really get what’s the appeal of making a whole commercial saying this channel will cease to exist because how exactly do you go about that?
