I don't think they're fined yet - this is just the start of the legal proceedings. Even if the judgement ultimately goes against Rogers, what are the chances they actually pay the entire fine? Probably not very high.
Better yet, forget the chump change - if it's proven they are wrong, they should be required to run advertising correcting the error (for every incorrect ad they've aired, they should be made to run a corrected one)
Now, has anyone challenged bell on advertising fibe as "fibre optic internet" yet?
