Once again, take note, that Sirius and XM are U.S. companies. Canada is a reseller. The only plus in having the Canadian companies is that repeaters are available in major centres. Whatever happens in Canada with the merger will have no impact on reception since Canada has no control over this regardless of how many Canadian subscribers complain or voice opinions.
Customer service, however, can improve. From my experience, it is actually worse than in the States.
