Its actually a 3 hour show that goes from 9-noon, with the first hour on ESPNU. As far as I know The Score is only airing the last two hours which air on ESPN.
Right, that's what i meant, as long as they pick up the 2 hrs on espn i'm cool.
BS / VT on Labour day?

The Boise State / Virginia Tech game is on ESPN on Labour Day evening (Sept 6). Does anyone know for sure yet if any Canadian channel is picking it up? I really don't want to miss this game.
It doesn't look like it. It isn't on The Score's schedule (although it could be added), TSN has CFL Labour Day Classics and TSN2 has US Open tennis that day. If The Score doesn't pick it up it will be on Super Sports Pak on Rogers/Cogeco and the NCAA package on Bell.

I have the Super Sports Pak so as long as it will be on that I am fine. How do you know it will be though? Does the SSP carry all ESPN games that aren't broadcast elsewhere on Canadian cable?
Yea most of the ESPN games (ie. main ESPN net, not ESPN2) are AFAIK. There is no way that they wouldn't include the biggest game of the first week on a day when there isn't much else happening (aside from a few afternoon MLB games).
Does Cogeco have a pay per view plan so you can just watch the college footballs that you want to see. Or do you have to pay for the whole sports package plan.

you have to pay for the whole package (Super Sports Pack) at $29.99 per month... They do not have a pay per package option.
Saturday 9/4, 10:00pm - Washington State @ Oklahoma State on Sportsnet One (on tape delay). It is a FSN broadcast in the US. Not a great matchup, but assuming Sportsnet has rights to FSN games involving Pac-10 teams, they will also get California-USC, Stanford-California, Arizona-Oregon and others.
Big 10 also has games on their multi station platform...found them late last season on Shaw anyways (HD too)
Im still pissed about last years Miami FSU game not being shown in Canada on labour day, and the year befor The Score aird CIS ontario garbage instead of the Miami Flordia.
I know, and this year on Labor day we will miss Boise State at Virginia Tech.
Yeah they should be showing more CanadaWest than OUA games.

Didn't notice this mentioned in this thread but TV38 (officially WSBK) from Boston carries ACC games as well.
The Score doesn't have a contract to carry Canada West games. Shaw owns exclusive regular season rights to Canada West, The Score has OUA, RDS has Quebec and Eastlink has AUS.

I find it funny that people complain about the lack of Canadian content on Canadian stations, then others turn around and complain about "Ontario garbage" featuring two teams full of Canadians being on over a US college game featuring virtuallly no Canadians. I guess you can't please everybody. I actually like the fact that The Score airs CIS games on Saturday afternoon when they could easily take the cheap way out and buy the 12:00pm package of ESPN games. Its not often that a Canadian network chooses amatuer Canadian sport over a simulcast of a US league/event.
Its only garbage to me cuz there is no spread.
still no college package for shaw direct :(

also really disappointing that no one is picking up the labour day game as others have said, that bsu vs vt game is a good one that we're all missing :(
There are so many awesome games this weekend, some already with huge BCS implications (Boise State - Virginia Tech, Oregon State - TCU), it's a shame that we don't get to see them. I'm not really choked at TSN for not picking up all the ESPN stuff, you can see the conflicts in their commitments (a tennis Grand Slam and the CFL makes for a busy weekend) ... but it's unfortunate the Score won't jump on the opportunity to provide content that no one else is and their is a viewership for. Instead of OS-TCU on Saturday night, it's Cabbie Unlimited, Score Today, and WWE replays ... come on.
Pitt vs. Utah tomorrow night will be a good game. too bad we can't see it. I guess the US college football package won't be carrying games shown on VERSUS.

Radio-Canada is broadcasting CIS-Québec football, not RDS. It starts next Sunday, McGill at Laval.
You are right. RDS used to have coverage, Radio-Canada started airing games last year. I had completely forgot. Sorry for the error.
