No confirmation yet, but TSN2 and The Score will both probably have some regular season and bowl games. TSN and TSN2 will probably once again have every BCS bowl.

When I do have confirmation I'll post it.

With the exception of the odd (like 1-2 a season) big MWC football game (and this will be a moot point when Utah joins the Pac-12), CBS College Sports doesn't offer any quality football programming. Same for basketball with the exception of the odd somewhat-big A-10, MWC and C-USA game.

Actually ABC has quite a few top 25 games. CBS has the SEC Game of the Week and NBC only has Notre Dame home games. ESPN has many top 25 games this year including Boise State-Virginia Tech, Miami (FL)-Ohio State and Texas Christian-Oregon State. Versus also has a couple good games a year, including Pittsburgh-Utah on opening night this year.

Well Fox doesn't air any college football and NBC and CBS only air national games (so the same game is on East and West). For ABC you should if you want some Pac-10 games and that's probably it. If your fine with Big Ten, ACC and some Big 12 games, then no need. However, for the NFL it does help to have Fox and CBS West. NCAA FB only starts a week before the NFL FWIW.

It doesn't look like it. It isn't on The Score's schedule (although it could be added), TSN has CFL Labour Day Classics and TSN2 has US Open tennis that day. If The Score doesn't pick it up it will be on Super Sports Pak on Rogers/Cogeco and the NCAA package on Bell.

Yea most of the ESPN games (ie. main ESPN net, not ESPN2) are AFAIK. There is no way that they wouldn't include the biggest game of the first week on a day when there isn't much else happening (aside from a few afternoon MLB games).

Saturday 9/4, 10:00pm - Washington State @ Oklahoma State on Sportsnet One (on tape delay). It is a FSN broadcast in the US. Not a great matchup, but assuming Sportsnet has rights to FSN games involving Pac-10 teams, they will also get California-USC, Stanford-California, Arizona-Oregon and others.

The Score doesn't have a contract to carry Canada West games. Shaw owns exclusive regular season rights to Canada West, The Score has OUA, RDS has Quebec and Eastlink has AUS.

I find it funny that people complain about the lack of Canadian content on Canadian stations, then others turn around and complain about "Ontario garbage" featuring two teams full of Canadians being on over a US college game featuring virtuallly no Canadians. I guess you can't please everybody. I actually like the fact that The Score airs CIS games on Saturday afternoon when they could easily take the cheap way out and buy the 12:00pm package of ESPN games. Its not often that a Canadian network chooses amatuer Canadian sport over a simulcast of a US league/event.

USC-Stanford is on ABC, not ESPN. If you get ABC from Spokane or Seattle, then you get it. I completely disagree that USC-Stanford is more important (or most valuable) game anyway. LSU is undefeated, LSU-Florida is a huge rivalry matchup, USC's games are basically meaningless and Stanford is coming off getting beat by Oregon. LSU-Florida is one of the 3 big games this weekend, probably the one I'm most looking forward too.

This weekend they aren't bothering with a reverse mirror of the 8pm games because there is an extra SEC game that they want to air on ESPN2 (Auburn-Kentucky) and because neither of the primetime games are "great" matchups. Usually ESPN2 only reverse mirrors ABC primetime games if 1 or both matchups are really good (two top 10 teams or big market teams) or if they have nothing better to air.

Okay so this weekend there are no games on Sportsnet One. I sent Sportsnet a Tweet asking why Sportsnet One doesn't have any NCAA football games this weekend. They replied that its because of "too many NHL, MLB and NFL commitments". First off the NFL doesn't play on Saturday (and games can't air on One anyway), there are no MLB games on One today and there are no NHL games on any Sportsnet channels today (all Canadian teams on HNIC). I have to say that this might be the worst excuse I've ever heard.

That is a MAC Network game. It is also on WXYZ (ABC Detroit), which anyone with Shaw Direct gets, as well as some Rogers customers outside of the Toronto area in Ontario and New Brunswick.

EDIT: Actually WXYZ is airing Western Michigan-Ball State, I had forgot that there was regional coverage on MAC Network this week.

I don't know if they will, but they seem pretty set on airing WWE Vintage on Saturday nights. There was no Serie A this past week, so they were able to air WWE Vintage earlier than its regular slot of 7-8, which made the 7:30-10:30 slot open for football. This week Serie A is on from 5-7, so they would have to air WWE Vintage after football if they pick up the Ohio State-Wisconsin game.

I'm not agreeing with their choice of making WWE Vintage their main Saturday night program, but for some reason they do.

So far this year The Score didn't air Oregon State-Texas Christian, South Carolina-Auburn or Penn State-Iowa, all games that are probably worth airing.

TSN2 has "NCAA Football: Teams TBA" scheduled for Saturday October 30 at 7:00pm ET. At that time Versus has a Pac-10 game, which TSN2 could pick up; however, I think it is more likely supposed to be for the 8:00pm ET game on ESPN. That night Ohio State-Minnesota or Michigan-Penn State will air on ESPN, with the other airing on ABC. Expect Michigan-Penn State to be on ESPN unless Ohio State loses again next week.
