Cogeco Cable announced this week that it has bolstered its Video on demand line-up in Ontario.

Digital cable customers in that province will soon have access to programming from the Global Television network including such shows as Glee, Survivor, Hawaii Five-O.

New episodes will be added each week.

VOD service baffles me.... does anyone actually fork out the money for this service? Get PVR, record your shows.... thats my cheaper version of VOD. I record a ton of programming and watch it at my convienience.

A large amount of VOD content is free. It's mainly movies that are found on PPV that are charged per viewing.

Not sure why we need PPV and VOD but that's another topic.
