City Tv switched back to MPEG 2 no guide data.

 

Working now after rescan.

 

confirm the switch back to mpeg2, and still no epg over the air.
However, when I tune 57.1 on the Samsung TV, it's apparently picking up epg info for CITY over the internet
somehow.

 

Next issue they have is that aside from no epg, they aren't broadcasting the time either.
That will hose up the time in TVs tuned to it, that depend on being told what time it is.

 

Sept 13 9:50AM My stupid “smart” TV does not have a numeric keypad on the remote control, but I was surprised to see CityTV at its old location, as shown on the TV set, as Channel 65.1 from Ottawa.

 

My legacy Tablo in Hamilton is now receiving City TV and I have a guide. I hope City got everything worked out.

 

^^^ yeah I hate those too. Kids don't know what numbers do on a remote. If there were a need for a number pad on a video game control, they certainly would.
