How do I set a time for the Cisco HD 4642 to shut off? My girlfriend has a habit of leaving it on all night... I remember the previous menu and settings had this option, but the new settings seem to be missing this setting.

Just as an FYI, these STBs only use about 1 W less when "off" (standby) than when on, so it's not anything to worry about. If it were a PVR and the HDD spun down, it'd be a different story. I leave my STB on 24/7, as do many of my clients so that they don't get out of synch when using remote controls, or simply so they don't need to bother.

ok, thanks. I always thought that the more you use electronics the shorter the lifespan, but I won't make a big deal of occasionally leaving it on.
