I just had a Telus 4K install, replacing Expressvue. Although some problems I was able to resolve, including an HDMI handshaking error with an older TV which required switching to analog, I have a problem in that the channel up/down keys on the Telus remote don't work unless I use the guide key first. Is there a way around this?

What happens when you press the channel up button when you're watching a channel? It should go to the next higher channel.

If you like to channel surf, you should be able to change the settings menu to only show subscribed channels.

Further testing suggests it's a problem with the Stingray channels, which seem to have a menu at that point which locks the channel buttons.
