I use both Roxio Creator, which came with my Dell, and Nero. Both copy CDs without any trouble.

I used CDex for ripping my CDs to MP3 for years. Just recently it stopped getting info from freedb, displaying an error and I had to resort to manually entering titles. I searched all over the net for a solution, but found nothing recent or that worked. I finally got an answer on https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/ Freedb has been discontinued. It was suggested I try dBpoweramp Music Converter and the CD Ripper in it works fantastic.
