CBS announced today that the series premiere of the new drama THE EQUALIZER, starring Queen Latifah, will be broadcast immediately following SUPER BOWL LV on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/7:00-8:00 PM, PT; time is approximate after post-game coverage). THE EQUALIZER will move to its regular Sunday (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) time period on Feb. 14, 2021. SUPER BOWL LV airs at 6:00 PM, ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
In addition, on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will broadcast a special original edition following late local news. THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN will also air a special weekend edition on Sunday, Jan. 24, following late local news.
Two weeks earlier, FBI will air immediately following the NFL's AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT; time is approximate after post-game coverage). CBS is bringing the classic variety show KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS from CBS Studios back home to the Network for the 2020-2021 broadcast season. Tiffany Haddish will continue to host and serve as an executive producer. A premiere date will be announced later. The 2021 Grammys, originally scheduled for January 31st, have been postponed, likely until March, due to concerns over the spread of Covid-19. Only presenters and performers would be on-site during the show. (Rolling Stone)
