'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 8 Premiere Date Moved Up, to Sunday Sept. 25 | TVLine

With CBS’ The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey docuseries being trimmed from six to four total hours (now premiering Sunday, Sept. 18 and concluding Monday, Sept. 19), NCIS: LA will open Season 8 a week earlier than originally scheduled with a two-hour season premiere on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 8:30/7:30c (may be delayed by a football doubleheader). CBS had previously called "The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey" "Case Closed."

^^ The main take-away is that neither series will get a second season because they did poorly in the ratings. Previous "limited series" such as Under the Dome and Wayward Pines get second and third seasons when they get decent ratings.

Dagnabit! BrainDead is another in a long list series I got hooked on and looked forward to every week... gone. Very few shows made me laugh out loud, and this was one of them. But then again, I heard they don't like satire as much in the USA. To bad, another smart witty, non-waste of time, show sent to the dust bin.

CBS Programming Advisory for Tuesday, Nov. 1

CBS will air rebroadcasts of NCIS, BULL and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS rather than the original episodes previously scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1, due to Game 6 of the World Series on FOX.

Global aired a 2015 repeat of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS in pre-release on Monday and it looks like they will also air the repeats of NCIS and BULL.
