CBC is bringing four acclaimed dramas to Canadian audiences on CBC TV and and CBC Gem this spring. (CBC Press Release)
  • VICTORIA Season 1 (2017, 1x90 + 7x60, Mammoth Screen, UK) Premieres Monday, March 22 with a 90-minute debut at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC and CBC Gem, followed by new one-hour episodes Mondays at 9 p.m. (9:30NT) starting March 29
Obviously CBC's experiment with Downtown Abbey being shown every weekday afternoon has paid off. With no season 4 of Victoria on the horizon It will be nice to go back and enjoy this excellent if not fully historically accurate series again.

CBC’s Burden of Truth comes to an end after four seasons | TV, eh? (tv-eh.com)

While it was previously reported that the news reflected a cancellation, Deadline has learned that Burden of Truth was long conceived as four-season series, which would go out on its own terms.
‘Burden Of Truth’ Ends With Season 4 – Deadline

CBC seems to be clearing the boards of their old reliables. Wonder where that leaves Murdoch?

Looks like they plan to have Murdoch carry on solving mysteries.

THE SECRETS SHE KEEPS (2020, 6x60, Lingo Pictures, Australia) Premieres Wednesday, April 14 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) with back-to-back episodes airing weekly on CBC TV, and all episodes dropping on CBC Gem on April 14.
That show is currently also available on Sundance Now. In fact, it has been there for almost a year. It is interesting to see that one show is simultaneously available in multiple streaming services.

Sorry to hear about Jim leaving. He added a touch of gravitas, common sense, authority and maturity to the proceedings.

Nothing from CBC yet. EPIX will start showing War Of The Worlds Season 2 on June 6. (Source) CBC was very late with Season 1, so who knows.
