Been browsing to replace my deployable Samsung player with is just about to bite the dust.

I don't want to spend several hundred $ as it's not the primary machine ( it is in the upstairs family room not where all my gear is downstairs ).

Every one I have looked at that says wifi - yes seems to need spending another $100 for a proprietary brand dongle.

Any ideas anyone ?

If you don't mind another small device kicking around you can pickup a cheap wireless access point for $30-40 and then just use a regular wired Blu-ray player.

I can think of two models with wi-fi built in that both retail for less than $200. The Samsung D5700 and the LG BD570

This Seiki coming out in June/July says it will have built-in WiFi:

SRP $120.00

I've been happy with the Seiki BD660 that WalMart carries, but no telling from model to model of these no-names.

Best Buy has/had a cheaper model with WiFi, as well. It was their house brand.

Grog's suggestion of a second router, running in bridge mode, is a good alternative.
