I can't find a source to replace the "Standard Module" that feeds the two tuners on the back of a dct 64xx. My PVR got dropped during my move and damaged the solder joint inside the signal splitter.

Needless to say the box is circa 2004 and way out of warranty.

I've never had those modules off, but I know on the 2500s you can just replace that module with a jumper. Perhaps it's possible to use a splitter and a couple jumpers for your 6412? Post a pic so we can take a look.

Try a 3-way splitter feeding the 2 RF in ports and the RPT port under the silver box. I am assuming the RF1 and 2 are the tuner inputs and the RPT is the return path transmitter; it tells the headend that the DCT is connected so you can still order VOD and PPV.

A local electronics repair shop should be able to fix it...

BTW the way; using a 4-way splitter does not replace the unit;
I will have to try to beg Shaw for a warranty replacement on the part.
