Has anyone in Canada ever done this or known anyone who has? I know there are bonding routers available in the U.S. but I haven't heard of or seen any in Canada. We're looking to purchase a second DSL line from Aliant and bond it with our existing connection to double the bandwidth. Anyone have any experience with this?

It can be done with Teksavvy. They sell it as a service and have a number of DSL subscribers using it. Not sure if Teksavvy serves your area though.

You might want to try TELoIP. They have a system called "ANA" which can be used to bond multiple internet connections. They don't even have to be all ADSL. You could, for example, bond ADSL and cable.

I know this thread is a little bit old, but I was wondering which service you decided to go with and how it has been performing for you.

I've been doing some research on the subject myself to find out about what is out there. Specifically I was looking into boning at layer 4, such that the ISPs don't even need to know you are bonding.

If you haven't found anything by chance, I'm sure if you google search for "broadband bonding" you'll find what you're looking for.
