Ive just noticed that i cannot access the hd channels, all the channels from 800 and up have a black screen and no sound.
is Bell having any issues or is there something wrong with the receiver?

Can you supply more details please;

Reciver model
Switch type
Connection used from Receiver to TV.
Has it worked before
What have you changed recently

Could be as simple as the HDMI has failed, in which case, use Component Cables.
