I did notice the extra games added in the 300s.

The funny thing is that in Sault Ste. Marie we don't even get the Big Ten channel because of lack of band width, but they manage to give us the Big Ten extra games. Something is better than nothing I guess.

This past Saturday (Sep. 11), when I tried to access the extra Big 10 games on the HD channels it wasn't available and a message displayed that said it was a subscriptions service.

When I accessed the SD version of those games it showed me the games but said it was a free preview.

My question is a preview of what. Shaw doesn't offer a college sports package that you can subscribe to and the Big 10 network I thought was free.

Did anyone else in areas where they get the Big 10 network experience this?

This may be another example of Sault Ste. Marie being shafted.

There was an upgrade on Many HD DCTs earlier this month and now any time an SD DCT tunes to an HD Channel it displays that message. The Saturday previews in SD of the NCAA Football is something Shaw does as a courtesy free of charge to my knowledge.

The only free preview I could find on the HD channels was on Sept 5th. Normally it is part of the HD sports or HD plus package.

The SD big 10 channel comes with digital basic.

Same problem

I'm also an HD plus subscriber, and couldn't watch the HD games on 358-359.
It was frustrating to see games in the guide that we couldn't watch!!

The SD games were on the other channels, but they misrepresented the one game as it was showing a duplicate of the main channel, not

South Dakota vs. Minnesota as it said in the guide

I have no other explainantion for this other than someone added a subscription tag to the channel when they should not have. Perhaps it's tied to the NFL package somehow. I'll see if i can get an answer for you. May take a while but will see what I can do.
