I REALLY wish people that read this stuff, could figure out the difference between "Bell" and "Bell Aliant".

They are NOT the same company and do things differently.

P.S. - Not your fault Hugh. Your just pumping out the news.

P.P.S. - I really wish Bell Aliant had stayed just Aliant and not jumped into the murky waters of Bell.
Hugh, sure it is and you understand the differences but soooooo.... many people think Bell Aliant = Bell. They read your news items and assume they are the same.

Bell has numbers of subsidiaries but Bell Aliant is not one of them. They (Bell Aliant) are their own company, trade different on the stock market with a different board of directors and a some what, different direction.

Bell owns the majority of shares of Bell Aliant and has the biggest voting rights when it comes to share holders but they do not move in the same direction.
