The Samsung Galaxy, the company's first Android powered phone, went on sale today in Canada exclusively through Bell Mobility.

The smartphone will sell for $450 without a contract or for as little as $99.99 on a three-year contract with a minimum $50 voice and data plan.



The Galaxy runs on Version 1.5 of the Android operating system. Features include a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 pixel AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, 8GB of internal storage, 32GB of additional storage via the microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
