Season 11 of Evil Lives Here begins airing on Investigation Discovery U.S. on February 20. (Source) Investigation Discovery Canada will finish airing season 10 from last fall on March 11, so it's hard to say when they will start the new season.

Interesting that they should be that far behind.

MTV announced that Ex On The Beach has been greenlit for two new seasons. The dating series returns Thursday, March 31 at 8PM ET/PT with 12 hour-long episodes. It will also air on MTV internationally in 180 countries beginning April 14. Note: MTV Canada airs most of these series on the same date as the U.S.

Discovery U.S. hasn't announced anything yet for Expedition Unknown. Last season premiered in July in the U.S. and August in Canada, but COVID has been disrupting production schedules, so I don't know what will happen this year.

What about the original Deadliest Catch series? The new season premieres in the US in a couple of weeks but given that the the US closed the red/King Crab fishery last fall the new series is about what our favourite fishermen did to keep fishing. Sig for example went to Norway. I'm wondering if Disc. Canada might feel that without the King Crab stories which are really the heart of the series, the series may not be worth showing this year.

Discovery Canada has a 2 hour block for Deadliest Catch (no episode info) on Tuesday, April 19 at 8 PM ET, which corresponds to the U.S. Season Premiere. There's also an episode on April 12.

Gold Rush: Freddy Dodge's Mine Rescue Season 2 premieres Monday, April 18 at 9 PM ET on Discovery Canada. April 11 looks like a retrospective of the past season.

The sixth and final season of Animal Kingdom will premiere on Sunday, June 19 with back-to-back episodes on TNT. (Source) CTV Drama usually airs it the same day in Canada.

It looks like the U.S. Season Premiere of Deadliest Catch has changed to Tuesday, April 12, which Discovery Canada will match. Deadliest Catch: Bloodline may also premiere on the same date, but that seems less clear.

Louisiana Law Season 2 premiered on Discovery Channel U.S. Saturday, April 9. (Source) Season 1 aired on Animal Planet in the U.S and Canada. Discovery Canada is re-airing season 1, but doesn't have season 2 on the schedule yet.

Discovery Canada announced that Adam Beach is confirmed to host the all-new Canadian original woodcarving competition series, A CUT ABOVE. The 12 episode series shoots this spring in Squamish, B.C. and is set to premiere later this year on Discovery. Competitors to be announced at a later date. (Bell Media Press Release)

Bell Media picked up the English-language linear and streaming rights to the premiere season of The Ark, the new season of Leverage: Redemption, and both seasons of Almost Paradise, the second season of which enters production in August. Bell Media will be premiering The Ark across Canada on the same day the Syfy Channel premieres it in the States. (Electric Entertainment Press Release)

Leverage: Redemption aired on CTV Drama and The Ark will probably air on CTV Sci-Fi.
