I had Bell install HD last week, installer put a DPP lnb and said no problem to add additional receivers just need a switch. Found out I needed a DPP 44 switch and could not find one. Had bell out yesterday to install the normal dual lnb's and put in a sw44 switch so i could hook up more than two recievers. He put the power inserter in the line prior to one reciever which is probably 90ft from the dish. Is this correct, doesn't seem to be according to the instructions. As well he put in one line from the dish with RG 6 and one with RG59 is this OK?

He shouldn't be using RG59, the installer shouldn't even have RG59 cable in his truck.

your best bet would be to find a DPP44 online, although very pricey and most likely from the USA.

I would be calling Bell, yet again, and have the RG59 replaced, it is NOT an approved Cable. Bell have a list of approved materials and that most certainly is not on there.
