Hello,

I ordered 2 Bell HD receivers and want to make sure my existing setup works once I plug in the receivers.

With my current sattelite setup I have one Dishpro 500 twin LNB that is pointed at 91 and has 2 cables from it running into the house. This dish is on top of my roof and because of the snow and ice now I can (will) not go up there to make any changes.
I also have another Fortecstar dish dual LNB that I have mounted on my fence. I was using this for FTA previously. This dish also has 2 cables running from it into my house.

My question is: Can I just reposition my Fortecstar dish to 82 and then run all cables from 91 and 82 into a SW44 switch, then run 2 seperate RG6 cables from the switch to each individual HD receiver?

Thanks for your response.

Can you verify the LNBF on the Dish on your Roof.?

Run a Check Switch, it will say if it is a DP or DPP LNBF.

Then you would have to use another DP LNBF on the Foretecstar Dish, then the switch would have to be a DP34, DPP34 or DPP44. You cannot feed an SW44 with DP LNBF's.
