Is it possible to use my existing bell dishes and lnb for shaw satellite? Obviously the reciever and programming would have to come from Shaw, but I already have two perfectly useable dishes on my garage roof, and the cabling to connect them.

ADVthanksANCE for your insights!

No. Bell LNBs are not compatible with the Shaw signal. Bell is circular polarity, Shaw is linear. Shaw will provide a dish, it may fit on the bracket the Bell dish was on.

Exactly, just swap out the Dish for a new Shaw Direct one, connect the lines to the LNBF, remove and discard any switch's that might be with the Bell Dish and hook up a receiver, tune to Ch299 and aim it.

Good Luck.
