I`m basically with fibe tv since it still carries fibe 25 and before with all the receivers off i was on the 22 , 23 in down and 3.50 up but i only notice this 2 days ago , right now its this : 2 receivers working 3 computers connected .

I dont know but could this be some kinda of a glitch in the system ???

Probably. Is your area new for this service? Maybe Bell just has put in whatever limiters they use in your area?

Have you tried other speed test sites?

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

http://speedtest.shaw.ca/

http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=support_internetServices_speedCheck&cm_mmc=grdrt-_-all-_-en-_-speedcheck

For me it seemed a bit optimistic, but about right since Rogers applied "speed boost". I'm on Rogers Express (10 down, 0.5 up) (Speedboost provides for initial higher speeds for web surfing, etc., however, after a while the speed comes down to what you purchase, for longer downloads - this means that different sites will have different numbers depending on the size of the download used for the test.)

Ok i tried the 3 and came up with this results :

Speakeasy - all above 50 being NY the highest 90.41 and up 3.42

Shaw - Down 4.12 , up 0.8

Rogers - Down 9.72 , up 3.50

i did the 3 , 3 times in all the 3 links , with shaw i will have to say that they are not reliable at all , i was watching what others guys were having with fibe iptv like me and they are above 14 download and 3.0 upload i remembered that i also posted mine with the 3 receivers working at the same time ( 2 HD , 1SD ) and it was this.

To test this i even downloaded a movie from a torrent site with 2.35G and it toke about 10 minutes this morning .

There must be a problem with bell or they are making some tests because following the address you guys just gave me its impossible this speed its ridiculous .

Download 311.825
Upload 3.402
At 311.825 kbps
700mb movie 18 sec
5mb song 1 sec
300mb tv show 8 sec

I`m gonna take a picture of this and post it after .

I'm skeptical that the modem is even capable of that speed. Many LANs are not that fast. (300Mbps require a gigabit LAN.) Is there any local caching going on?

Wow!

A lot of us would like a gigabit internet connection. If you discover the secret, let us know. ;)
