anyone else having picture and sound not match with there 505's. i have 2 505's with the same problem. one is hoocked up to a home theater and the stations where dolbly digital is available there is no problem but the others the sound does not match. the only thing that cures this is a hard reset but after a little while the picture will flicker and the sound is out again.

what do you mean by not matching? if you are talking about the sound seeming to be like a movie where the actor's mouth is not moving in time with the words, i think you are getting a processing delay in either the audio or the video. the picture and the sound are 2 different recordings, one is recorded with a camera and the other with a microphone. when they made the master disc in the studio they synchronized the two with each other but they are still 2 separate streams of data and if the satellite receiver or your surround sound receiver takes longer to process one of those streams, you will notice the offbeat sound effect. this could even happen somewhere between the mastering studio and the satellite uplink so try changing channels before blaming your equipment.
on rare occasion i have seen a problem where the customer had a very weak signal and the receiver seemed to be confused where it was playing the sound from one channel while displaying the picture of another. could that be what you are experiencing?
