The Radiothon will air from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m local time on fifty-seven English-language radio stations in 30 cities.
The radio stations will team up with the Children's Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of sick children by raising funds for children's hospitals and health foundations.
The funds will be used in support of some 20 large children's hospitals and kids health care facilities across the country. Last year, the event raised over $7.1 million.
Beginning today, Astral has begun an ad campaign to raise awareness and encourage listeners to give generously to the sick children's hospital in their region.
