Apple’s new product, the Apple Watch, is now available for pre-order in Canada.

The Apple Watch allows users to do things quickly that would normally be done on a mobile phone but in a more convenient and less obtrusive way, according to Apple. In doing so, the accessory uses new technology to interface with the user. This includes the pressure sensitive display of Force Technology, taps for notifications, a heart rate monitor and the ability to customize the design of the watch face to each user’s desires.

Simple to use, the Apple Watch activates and deactivates by raising and lowering the wrist.

All Apple Watches and Apple Watch Bands are available for pre-order exclusively online. The watches come in three models: the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport which are now available at all of Canada’s twenty-nine Apple Stores for viewing, and the exclusive Apple Watch Edition, which starts at $13,000 CAD, and is available to view and for pick up only at two Canadian stores: Toronto’s Eaton Centre; and Montreal’s Sainte-Catherine.

According to the company, customers of the Apple Watch Edition will have a premium buying experience, with extra-long try-on sessions and enhanced 24/7 support, as well as an extra year of AppleCare at no charge.
