Apple has released an updated version of its Remote application which is optimized for the retina display on the iPhone 4 and new iPod touch and which adds support for the iPad's larger screen.

Using your home's WiFi network, the app lets you turn your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad into a remote control for iTunes and Apple TV. Devices must have iOS 3.1.2 or later.

Along with the usual bug fixes, new features include support for shared libraries on iTunes and the new Apple TV.
