Fans of the Apple iPad will have another option in a few days, however, the new fourth generation version will deliver twice the storage and Retina display to sweeten the deal.

The new 128GB iPad with WiFi will cost $799 USD while the WiFi and Cellular model will retail for $929 USD in both Canada and the US.

Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said: "With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs.”

Along with the new 9.7-inch Retina display, the 128GB LTE-enabled iPad comes with the A6X chip, FaceTime HD camera and the new iOS 6.1 in both black and white models.

Microsoft’s Surface with Windows 8 Pro will arrive in stores soon after on Feb. 9th, retailing for $999 for 128GB model and $899 for the 64GB version.
