Seems the bubble for a CDMA iPhone has burst, as carriers continue to upgrade to more capable technologies and consumers vote with their pocketbooks.

Pegatron originally expected to ship 10 million CDMA iPhone 4s in 2011, but sources from upstream component makers pointed out that Apple's orders already saw a significant reduction and the volume is estimated to drop to only five million units.

I was always surprised they bothered, it's hard to sell something to people that they already know is almost outdated. Not to mention it made it very obvious about the shortcomings of a CDMA network for smart phones.
