I just had my dish installed and pointed to 97w today, strength was good at 91% and quality at 71%. Although there are a lot of station on there, I found it boring after a while.

Any other decent bird out there with interesting stuff to point the 33" dish to?

do you do C on a ku band ?

No motor installed on it, it's fixed onto a tower

97W has the most unencrypted channels of any satellite. Other birds that may be of interest to you may be 101W for History and Bio US, 89W for ABC NewsNow and feeds, or 125W for PBS

You can squeeze a second lnb and have both 97w and 101w on one dish. Investing in a motor, with current FTA channel lineup is waste of money in my opinion. Good OTA antenna (or two) is much better investment. With OTA antenna you should be able to get lots of PBS s and more in Ottawa.
