Does anyone (or know someone who) still uses *analog* (no DTV) rabbit ear antennas to get TV reception?

I've been using a rabbit ear to get reception and complained about the lack of cable for years. I just got a 55'' TV, and amazingly my parents STILL would not get me cable. It is unbelievable.

i still do for my local stations... works like a charm and picks up DTV Signals no problem

Sigh.

There's no such thing as "analog" or "DTV" rabbit ears...

A dipole antenna is a diploe antenna. It doesn't care what type of information is being carried by the RF signals it picks up.

If you can afford a 55" TV, perhaps you should get your own cable.
