Since i got my fibe installed yesterday ive been unable to watch HDNET. I called today and i was informed that their contract has run out or something along those lines and their no longer carrying the channel!

Just wondering if they fed me a line of BS or if its in fact true. If it is chalk it up to 2 channels im missing out on now!

1.FPTV ( Portuguese) - They advertise as having the channel and they have it in the programming brochure but the channel isnt actually available yet to subscribers. One of the main reasons i changed from Bell TV to Bell Fibe tv. ( No Portuguese content on bell Satellite tv)

2. HDNet- Told their contract/agreement has run out and their not carrying the channel anymore. ( Had it working fine on Bell satellite tv)

on Bell FIBE tv? And can you actually view it?
I the channels there on fibe but you cant actually watch it. it says to subscribe

I have HDNET on ExpressVu still but I see it isn't listed in the latest Bell Fibe channel listings on the Fibe site. Bell better renew their contract with HDNET, it's one of the most watch channels around here.

Talk to bell last week. Someone from bell emailed me and Informed me that the portuguese channel FPTV will launch Either Today or tomorrow ( sept.15 or Sept.16). She told me they were still in negotiations before. I just got home and channels still not there so im guessing tomorrows the day. I also have my fingers crossed that HDNet will also be coming my way tomorrow even though no one has any info on that issue.

well the 15/16 have come and gone.. no FPTV added like bell told me. i guess ill fire the person who sent me the email and email back n ask wtf happened. Probably just keep string'n me along till the channel someday comes.

Well Sorry to bring up a dead thread, But Today March 3rd 2011 Bell Fibe tv FINALLY added The portuguese channel FPTV!

I got Fibe tv back in September and was told they "had it" when i signed up. Only took 7 months to get it lol. No one even called or anything. I just stumbled upon it today while seeing what on later on RTP. For those interested its channel 880.

Noticed they also added YTV HD,Family HD, OWN HD. I think thats about it.
