I had my "V" scheduled recording set up from last season. Checking the guide a couple of days ago I saw that last night's episode was scheduled to be recorded (red-boxed, Info describes episode). Checked the list of scheduled recordings, same thing. Came downstairs to watch it last night and it's not there. Checked the list of scheduled recordings and now it shows V on channel 522 (ABC-HD) set for Jan. 11, with the same episode description. Went back to the guide and, sure enough, I can still see V in the 9PM slot on channel 522, with the same info episode description that I see in me Scheduled Recordings list for Jan. 11.

Yes, it's probably time for a re-boot. I've lost recordings in the past for who knows what reason, but this one is somehow different. Or is ABC really re-running the S2 premier next week?

Mine recorded fine

I also recorded V last night and it was just fine. I watched it completely at 11pm last night and it played without a glitch.
Anyway, you might be able to catch it on On Demand, maybe. Check for it in a couple of days.

Here's the weird thing. I figured my scheduled recording was suspect so I figured I'd delete it and set up a new one. I deleted it from the list of scheduled recordings, then went back to the Guide to Jan. 11 to find the program still red-boxed! It's as if I had *two* recordings of the same program -- after deleting one the other was still there. I deleted the "second" recording (this time the red box finally went away) and then created a new recording. Fingers crossed for next week.
